Fusion D'Issey
Issey Miyake's Fusion D'Issey is an eau de toilette built on a dominant floral heart, brightened by a prominent citrus opening. A sparkling lift of lemon and freshly clean notes give way to a softer, more rounded centre, where rose and violet blend with a warm jasmine richness. As it settles, a gently honeyed and powdery quality emerges, and the base of sandalwood and musk adds a dry, woody depth with a faintly animalic edge that remains once the brighter notes have faded.
The fragrance feels clear and light at first, yet it holds a warm, inviting character throughout the day. The opening is defined by Coconut Milk, Fig Nectar, Lemon , delivering brightness and immediate lift while establishing the tonal direction of the fragrance.
As it develops, the heart introduces Sandalwood, Rosemary, Geranium, Cardamom , creating a more textured centre. The transition remains smooth, allowing each note to emerge without disrupting the overall balance of the structure.
The base settles into Ambroxan, Patchouli , providing cohesion and depth to the drydown while maintaining continuity with the freshness established in the opening.
