Dioressence
Dioressence, launched in 1979 by the French house Dior, has an earthy, woody and mossy character softened by warm spices and a green, floral heart. It opens with a brighter, citrus-tinged edge, with bergamot lifting the first impression before a soft aldehydic sparkle settles in. As it develops, the spiced floral heart comes forward, bringing a rosy warmth and a faintly powdery softness.
