Chopard Nuit des Rois Eau de Parfum is a rich, dramatic fragrance built around deep woods and warm spice, with a rose and iris opening that gives it an unexpectedly polished first impression. It belongs to the woody oud family, where a lush, honeyed sweetness softens the darker materials and keeps the overall character refined rather than heavy.
The opening is bright and slightly powdery, with a dewy rose and a soft iris setting a graceful tone. As it settles, a warm heart of saffron and honey comes forward, lifted by a sparkle of bitter orange and cardamom. Neroli and vanilla add a gentle, creamy roundness before the composition sinks into a dry, resinous base of sandalwood, guaiac wood and vetiver. The development is smooth and deliberate, moving from floral brightness into a sheltered, warmer finish over the course of the day.
This is a fragrance with presence. It tends to project noticeably and generally holds its shape for a long time on the skin, so a light application is usually plenty.
